Consent Statement

The processing described below happens only with your explicit consent. You are not obliged to consent, and you may withdraw consent at any time.

What you consent to

1. Handling your enquiry

When you submit the contact form, you consent to the processing of the name, email address, organisation, subject and message you provide, for the purpose of replying to you. These are kept for 12 months and then deleted automatically.

2. Newsletter

When you subscribe, you consent to your email address being processed for the purpose of sending the newsletter and being transferred to Intuit Mailchimp for that purpose. Mailchimp's servers are in the United States, which constitutes a transfer abroad.

Subscription is double opt-in: a confirmation email is sent and you are not added to the list until you confirm.

3. Visit statistics

If you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner, you consent to your visit being measured with Google Analytics and to cookies being written for that purpose. Your IP is anonymised, advertising signals are off, and the data is deleted after 14 months.

If you decline, not a single request reaches Google. The measurement tool is never loaded.

Withdrawing consent

• Analytics: use the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the page and choose "Decline". Measurement stops immediately.
• Newsletter: the unsubscribe link at the foot of every newsletter.
• Contact record: write to info@civicspacemedia.org and we will delete it.

Withdrawal does not make processing carried out before the withdrawal unlawful.

If you do not consent

Nothing happens. The site remains fully usable. You simply do not receive the relevant service.
